ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible to apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), you need to meet the following criteria:
Express Entry Profile (if applying for an Express Entry aligned stream): You must have an active Express Entry profile and indicate your interest in applying to the SINP.
SINP Point Assessment Grid: You must score a minimum of 60 points out of 110 on the SINP point assessment grid. The grid evaluates factors such as education, work experience, language proficiency, age, and adaptability.
Language Proficiency: You must meet the minimum language proficiency requirements, which are CLB 4 for the Occupation in Demand (OID) category and CLB 7 for the Express Entry subcategory. Language proficiency is assessed in English or French.
Education: You must have earned a diploma, certificate, or degree from a recognized educational institution. If your education was obtained outside of Canada, you must submit an educational credential assessment (ECA) from a designated organization approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Trades or Job Training: If you completed trades or job training as part of your high school education, you need to apply for Saskatchewan licensure instead of the SINP. This applies to regulated occupations that require licensure in Saskatchewan.
