Updates for PNP’s at the end of 2018

1. Ontario – on Dec 20th around 24 candidates where invited for Ontario under french speaking skilled worker stream – CRS below 400. OINP has issued a total of 6850 nominations to successful applicants across all streams in 2018.

2. Manitoba invited 492 candidates, including Express Entry candidates, to apply to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), with invitations issued across the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, Skilled Workers Overseas stream, and the International Education stream. Around 44 candidates were invited under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative (718+ points required) 307 invited who have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code and at least 6 months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list; OR a close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience in Manitoba; AND at least 6 months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list; AND a minimum language proficiency of CLB 5 unless work experience is primarily in a regulated occupation (minimum CLB 7) or a compulsory trade (CLB 6) (576+ points required)

3. PEI invited 65 Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates to apply for provincial nomination under the PEI PNP

4. Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), showing that candidates with CRS scores as low as 301 have been invited to apply Alberta has reached its nomination allocation for 2018 of 5,600 nominations under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Alberta express entry programme – Candidates are directly selected from EE pool like Ontario with minimum CRS of 300, should be working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification

but preference is given to candidates with close ties in alberta or those have studied in alberta or have job offer from alberta. Also chances of getting invitation decreases if candidate’s occupation is any given in the link.
