May 30, 2018 – Canada immigration authorities have conducted a rare program-specific Express Entry draw aimed at Skilled Trades and Provincial Nomination candidates.
The draw saw 700 candidates with scores as low as 288 invited to apply for Canada immigration.
Under the Federal Skilled Trades section of the draw, 500 candidates were invited to apply with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 288 points. The Provincial Nominee Program part of the draw saw 200 candidates invited with a minimum score of 902 points. Candidates with a provincial nomination score 600 points on top of their Express Entry profile score.
