Canada announced a new mobility agreement with South Korea

Canada is strengthening ties with South Korea through the Canada-South Korea Youth Mobility Arrangement. This will give youth from both countries more options for international work and travel through International Experience Canada or the South Korean equivalent. Changes include increasing the age eligibility from 18-30 to 18-35, adding two new streams (International Co-op and Young Professionals), and allowing most youth to participate in the program twice for up to 24 months each time. The new arrangement is set to begin in 2024 and will create new opportunities for work and travel while improving labour market access for Canadian and South Korean youth.
