IRCC updated procedures for collecting banking information from contracted interpreters

On February 8, 2023, the Government of Canada announced that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) updated the process for collecting new or amended banking information from interpreters on November 17, 2022. According to the new update, IRCC users will contact the FIN SAP Helpdesk, which will then send a safe web form link to interpreters. Consequently, forms FIN0015, FIN0016 and FIN0017 are no longer in use. The Immigration Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) provides IRCC with a list of accredited and security-cleared interpreters who act as essential resources in providing quality interpretation services.

The new status trackers are designed for applicants who have registered for Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) and those who applied to the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
