Saskatchewan issued 564 ITAs in the new draw
On December 1, 2020, Saskatchewan held a new draw in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). SINP issued invitations to apply for the provincial nomination to 564 candidates. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan released 138 invitations to apply. Another 426 invitations have been sent to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 74 points. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In addition, SINP noted that those who got an ITA have a close family relative in the province or have graduated from a post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan. In this draw, the Saskatchewan government invited candidates in 86 different NOCs. In total, Saskatchewan issued ITAs to 7,819 candidates in 2020.

British Columbia invited 11 entrepreneurs
On December 1, 2020, British Columbia held a new draw for business-candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BC PNP invited 11 candidates. The lowest score of this round has increased by twelve points and reached 121 points, compared to the October 20 draw. British Columbia invited 154 business-candidates in 2020 including 54 entrepreneurs in the Regional Pilot.

Nova Scotia invited candidates with a valid job offer
On December 1, 2020, Nova Scotia held a new invitation round in the Labour Market Priorities Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). In this draw, Nova Scotia issued Letters of Interest to Express Entry candidates who possess a valid job offer from the employer in Nova Scotia. The position of the candidate must be a full-time job for a duration of at least one year from the day candidates will be granted PR. All candidates invited in this round must possess one year of relevant work experience, secondary education credentials, and demonstrate the language skill at a CLB level 5 or higher in English or French in all four bands. The deadline to submit the application for all invited candidates is set on December 31, 2020, before 11:59 PM. In the previous rounds of this stream in 2020, Nova Scotia targeted French-speaking candidates, nurses, motor vehicle body repairers, and automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers, programmers and interactive media developers.

New Brunswick will host a virtual job fair
On December 1, 2020, New Brunswick announced that the provincial government will hold a virtual job fair for skilled trades. The province invites temporary workers, international students, and permit holders who currently reside in Canada to participate in the event. New Brunswick expressed a special interest in Welders and related machine operators (NOC- 7237), Electricians (NOC 7241), Plumbers (NOC 7251), Carpenters (NOC 7271), Bricklayers (NOC 7281), Cooks (NOC 6322), Construction Trades Helpers and Labourers (NOC 7611), Automotive Service Technician (NOC 7321), and Motor Vehicle Body Repairers (NOC 7322). Candidates do not need to meet Canadian licensing requirements to attend the job fair. The deadline for registration is January 28, 2021.
