Canada invited 14,938 prospective immigrants to apply for the PR in October 2019

In October, Canada invited 8,300 candidates to apply for permanent residence in the federal immigration programs served by Express Entry. Another 6,638 candidates were invited under various Provincial Nominee Programs, and 59.3% of them invited by Saskatchewan. In total, Saskatchewan issued invitations to 3935 foreign nationals. Alberta invited 516 candidates, British Columbia issued ITA for 1,249 candidates, Manitoba issued 350 invitations, Nova Scotia invited at least 430 people, and Prince Edward Island invited 158 candidates. In total, 14,938 foreign nationals received invitations to immigrate to Canada in October.
