MPNP issued 428 invitations to apply for the nomination of Manitoba

On November 18, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #130, Manitoba invited 376 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score of those who received a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 464, four points more compared to draw #129. As for the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, the province invited 22 individuals, and the lowest score to get the LAA was 726, thirteen points more than in the previous round. In addition, MPNP invited 30 candidates in the International Education Category. Of those 428 invited in this round, 68 candidates had valid Express Entry profiles. In 2021, Manitoba already invited 9,780 individuals under the MPNP, including 3,863 Express Entry candidates.

Saskatchewan issued a record number of 633 ITAs under the SINP

On November 18, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). SINP issued 633 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 425 ITAs. Another 208 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 65 points, 6 points fewer than in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 14 NOCs. In total, Saskatchewan invited 6,933 candidates in 2021, 3,158 under the Express Entry, 134 under the Entrepreneurs, and 3,641 under the Occupations In-Demand category.

Prince Edward Island encourages internationally educated nurses to complete RN Bridging Program

On November 18, 2021, Prince Edward Island (PEI) called nurses with international credentials to upgrade their qualifications and complete the Registered Nurse (RN) Bridging / Re-Entry Education Program to work as registered nurses in PEI. The RN Bridging Program helps nurses integrate into the Canadian healthcare system through a mixture of courses and practice work. Since the program began in 2019, a total of 19 nurses have completed the program. Nurses are eligible to get up to $3,750 in funding to cover their tuition. Nurses interested in the program are advised to contact the College of Registered Nurses of PEI (CRNPEI).

Prince Edward Island invited 188 candidates in the new round

On November 18, 2021, Prince Edward Island held a new draw in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In this round, the province issued 172 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. The province also issued 16 invitations in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 67 points, five points fewer than in the October draw. In 2021, the PEI PNP invited 1,729 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. 146 of those invitees belong to business class candidates. The next round is scheduled for December 16, 2021.
